No matter what we do, pimples will sometimes happen. Make sure yours don’t stick around long by using my pimple spot treatment, Zit Zapper! This product will do a number on your budding pimples, making sure they have a VERY short lifespan. Made with a blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) as well as a crapton of anti-inflammatory actives, this lightweight, unscented gel will reduce skin thickening, clean out pores, and reduce redness and irritation at the site of the blemish.
HUMANS WITH PCOS! This product will really help with ingrown hairs, fyi.
NOTE: because this product is quite strong, it is recommended that you only use it once a day. Also, as with any products containing AHAs, you want to be careful about sun exposure for a week after using it, as AHAs will make you more sensitive to UV exposure.

INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED:
Glycolic Acid: Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), a chemical exfoliant. It will help to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. AHAs like glycolic acid are water-soluble chemical exfoliants, so they cannot enter pores to clean them out. This makes AHAs more suitable for dealing with less severe acne and blackheads. In this formula, glycolic acid is both exfoliating and acting synergistically with the salicylic acid in the formula.
Hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer: This ingredient is the gelling agent for the serum. It is a Hydro-Swelling Droplet (HSD) form of emulsifier, and is used for cold emulsions, in which no ingredients are heated during the formulation of the product.
Jojoba oil: Jojoba oil is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil with a structure similar to that of sebum, which is produced by the skin. It is a great emollient to use in formulas for oily/combo skin because it won’t cause breakouts. In this formula, it is present as a fast-absorbing emollient.
Rosehip oil: Rosehip seed oil has loads of antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids, so it is very anti-inflammatory. In this formula, it is present as an emollient and anti-inflammatory active.
Aloe vera: Aloe vera has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, hydrating, and antioxidant activity with regards to skin. In this formula, it is present as both a moisturizing agent and an anti-inflammatory active.
Cucumber Extract: Anti-inflammatory extract that hydrates, softens, and cools skin.
Lactobacillus ferment: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, etc.
Salicylic Acid: Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), which is an oil-soluble chemical exfoliant. Unlike AHAs, salicylic acid can enter the pores and liquefy the contents, which makes it more appropriate for oily skin types. When added to a formula that contains AHAs, salicylic acid acts synergistically to exert more potent exfoliating activity than it could do on its own. SA should never be used by dry skin types.
Tocopherol: Tocopherol is Vitamin E, and acts as a preservative in this formula, preventing the oxidation of the oils in the product and increasing the shelf life.
Phenoxyethanol: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, etc.

This stuff really works!! I have so many issues with extracting pimples, only for them to come back repeatedly over the course of a week, especially underneath scabbing. My pimples seem to take forever to go away, sometimes leaving scarring if they’re particularly enduring.
This spot treatment does exactly what is described, and for most I’ve only had to use it on the blemish once. I had particularly nasty one I had to dab two days in a row. The best part is not feeling like there’s still something under my skin I want to pick at after applying this product, even if it takes a couple more days to fully resolve. It keeps me from reopening the zit to extract more, letting it fully heal.
It’s difficult to describe pimple popping/picking without being gross about it, but let’s be real, it is gross. Thanks to this product I can finally put this nasty habit to rest!!
