Inspired by the congressional icon, Maxine Waters, this serum is made to deal with the increasingly deep frown lines you get from having to deal with idiots who keep trying you, as well as the “11s” between your eyebrows from facepalming at the latest gaffe by the fools around you. I took every single high-powered anti-wrinkle active in my cupboard and made this lightweight serum that is great for all skin types. Be like Maxine, and Reclaim Your Time!
Available scented with a sweet, powdery scent or fragrance free. In 1 oz full size or a 0.3 oz sample size. Both come packaged in airless pump bottles, which increase shelf life and allow for the use of very mild preservatives because the product is kept under a vacuum and is not exposed to air. NOTE: sometimes, the presence of an air bubble in the product will cause the pump to not pump any product. If this happens, DO NOT REMOVE THE TOP. Simply tap the bottle on your bathroom counter and pump until product dispenses.

INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED:
Sunflower oil: I love, love, LOVE sunflower seed oil! It’s really great for dry, dehydrated, or otherwise compromised skin because its linoleic acid content helps skin to make its own lipids, including ceramides, which are critical for proper barrier function. Sunflower seed oil also has a natural soothing effect on skin, making it great for reducing skin irritation.
Camellia seed oil: Camellia seed oil is a fast-absorbing oil with antioxidant activity. It is present in this formula as an emollient.
Meadowfoam oil: This oil is super stable, largely because it is primarily composed of long-chain fatty acids, which are the most resistant to rancidity when exposed to oxygen. It also contains compounds which help the skin’s ability to prevent collagen degradation and to protect skin from UVB damage. In this formula, it is present as a stabilizing emollient.
Acetyl Octapeptide-3: This peptide active uses a similar mechanism as botox to reduce wrinkles. It acts pre-synaptically to prevent the release of neurotransmitters required for muscle contraction. By preventing full muscle contraction, wrinkles are lessened.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-30 and Arginine: This peptide/amino acid complex acts in a similar manner to botox, in that it prevents full muscle contraction, thus, lessening wrinkles. This active functions post-synaptically to block the formation of an action potential. Neurotransmitters are released at the synapse, but nothing is done with them.
Palmitoyl oligopeptide (and) Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7: Active ingredient containing two peptides that act in concert to stimulate cellular repair and reconstruction, thus lessening wrinkles.
Hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer: This ingredient is the gelling agent for the serum. It is a Hydro-Swelling Droplet (HSD) form of emulsifier, and is used for cold emulsions, in which no ingredients are heated during the formulation of the product.
Tocopherol: Tocopherol is Vitamin E, and acts as a preservative in this formula, preventing the oxidation of the oils in the product and increasing the shelf life.
Fragrance: This is the scent that is added to the product. Fragrance oil manufacturers are not required by law to disclose what compounds are in their fragrance oils. However, some will tell you what is NOT in their fragrance oils, and I base my fragrance oil purchases on this information. I make sure my fragrance oils are free of phthalates and known carcinogens. Because fragrance may be a source of irritation in a product formula, I offer all my products fragrance free as well as scented.
Lactobacillus ferment: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, etc.
Phenoxyethanol: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, etc.

This is IT. This is my daily serum because it’s so light it doesn’t feel like it clogs my pores. I use it after wash and toner. I feel like it has reduced my wrinkles or kept me from getting more, but honestly I just like the lightly moisturized feeling I get from wearing it.
