It is not a good idea to use cleanser on your eye area, as that skin is very delicate and very thin and thus, very susceptible to damage from harsh products/ingredients. To remove eye makeup, you should use a product that is mild and gentle and will remove makeup without scrubbing. Unfortunately, many eye makeup removers contain silicones, which can be irritating to the eyes. My eyes would turn red and burn for a whole day when I tried to use silicone-containing store-bought eye makeup removers. One day, drunk with power, I whipped up an eye makeup remover that wouldn’t hurt my eyes. That is my Ultra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. This makeup remover is suitable for regular eye makeup, but not for heavy or waterproof eye makeup. (Use Happy Ending for that!). Glycerin and an olive-based cleansing agent work to remove makeup while the calendula extract helps soothe skin.
TO USE: Wet a cotton round or cotton ball with makeup remover, and gently rub off makeup. I recommend applying some kind of eye cream afterwards, to make sure the eye area stays nice and hydrated.

Glycerin: Glycerin is used as a humectant, solvent and emollient in cosmetic formulations.
Olive oil PEG-7 esters: Mild and gentle olive oil-based cleansing agent.
Calendula Extract: Calendula extract is soothing and anti-inflammatory.
Polyaminopropyl biguanide: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria in the product.
Lactobacillus ferment: This ingredient is a preservative, and is responsible for preventing the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, etc.

What is this magic?! I’ve never had a makeup remover like it. It takes everything off with a light swipe of the pad, instead of having to rub rub rub, and doesn’t leave an oily residue behind. I’m sold.
